Library services unavailable on Monday, July 4
The Library will not be staffed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The library's 5th and 7th floor study spaces and computer labs will be accessible 24/7 through the holiday weekend to all Rush personnel with a Rush ID.

Borrowing books from other libraries
To include resources at other I-Share libraries, select All I-Share Libraries. I-Share includes more than 100 academic and institutional libraries in Illinois which lend books to the Library of Rush University Medical Center patrons.
What types of material can I borrow from libraries in the I-Share Network?Most physical books held by other libraries in the I-Share network can be borrowed by Rush patrons, but libraries may choose not to lend books in their Reserve and Reference collections.Can I borrow e-books or e-journal articles through I-Share?
e-Books and e-Journals can't be borrowed through I-Share, and are excluded from your results by default. To request journal articles and book chapters which are held by other other libraries, make an Interlibrary Loan request instead.

Database search allows you to locate abstract and citation databases (PubMed, Ovid, Scopus, EBSCOhost) clinical resources (UpToDate, VisualDx, CLinicalKey) and other library resources by title and keyword.
