The Rush University Medical Library and METC will be closed Monday, May 27th

The library and METC will be closed to observe Memorial Day. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, May 28th.

Services, and Reference are all departments that perform duties too numerous to list, keeping the Library running like a well oiled machine.
Journal Cancellations for 2013
January 11, 2013
Going into calendar year 2013, the Library has cancelled 11 journal titles and 13 Audio Digest titles. Cancellations were based on low use; usage statistics were made available to the Library from the publishers. The journal titles that were cancelled are:
• American Journal of Bioethics
• American Surgeon
• Annual Review of Biophysics
• Annual Review of Genetics
• Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences
• Health Services Management Research
• Illness, Crisis and Loss
• Journal of Gerontological Nursing
• Patient Education Management
• Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology
• Social Work
Audio Digests were cancelled for the following subjects: anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics / gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, psychiatry and urology.

UpToDate provides ACCME credit for free. More information and step by step instructions can be found by clicking this link.
