Library Funding Assistance

Reference librarians are available to assist in the use of funding websites, literature searches and the use of bibliographic software.

Assistance with Funding Websites

Reference Librarians can provide individual and small group instruction in the use of funding web sites. This includes navigating and creating effective search strategies to return optimal funding opportunities.

Librarian Assisted Search

For comprehensive literature research, the reference staff offers mediated searches. A database specialist will complete a thorough search of appropriate resources. The Library has access to many resources not available to the public. This time-saving service does not normally require a fee.

This service is restricted to Rush University Medical Center, students, faculty and staff.

You can request a mediated search online by filling out the Librarian Assisted Search request form.

RefWorks

Librarians can assist you with RefWorks; an online research/citation management tool that allows you to collect, store, and manage information.  Refworks also allows researchers to share their citations with colleagues.

For more information on what services offered by the Library offer, drop by the Library Service Desk during normal business hours or call us at (312) 942-5950.

Rush is a not-for-profit health care, education and research enterprise comprising Rush University Medical Center, Rush University, Rush Oak Park Hospital and Rush Health.
